TC WATER UPDATE- February 24, 2021 - 11:44 AM:Great News from the TC MUD No. 1: The Trophy Club Municipal Utility District No. 1 recognized residents were worried that letting faucets drip and having possible broken pipes due to last weeks' winter storm would raise their usage and winter sewer averaging for the year. The board added an item for discussion at their Board Meeting on February 22, 2021, and voted unanimously to remove February usage from the winter averaging calculations. For 2021, customers' winter averaging months will only include December and January. The City of Fort Worth has extended the boil water advisory to our area. HOWEVER, the TC MUD No. 1 treats the water received from FW and wants to assure the residents of TC that the TC MUD No.1 customers' water is still SAFE.
TC WATER UPDATE- February 19, 2021 - 1:15 PM:FW has rescinded its boil notice. This news has no bearing on the TC MUD No.1's system or water quality. Trophy Club's water has been and continues to be SAFE to drink with no need to be boiled! The Trophy Club MUD No. 1 administers a secondary treatment to the water when it comes to town before it is sent to the end-user (homeowner). This is not the case for all communities. For Trophy Club, the TC MUD No. 1 water operations NEVER LOST POWER, which allowed their operations and treatments to continue. Once again, nothing has changed, Trophy Club water is safe and does not need to be boiled at this time. If you have any questions, please contact the MUD No. 1 directly at 682-831-4600 for water or wastewater emergencies. They are receiving higher numbers of calls during this time and appreciate your patience. http://tcmud.org/
