July is one of my favorite months in Trophy Club! Summer is in full swing and our streets will be lined with our Stars and Stripes in true patriotic fashion to commemorate our nation's independence!
It’s also when one of our most well-attended, daylong, and festive events takes place…our Fourth of July Celebration!
We begin with the Patriot 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run at 7:15 AM…great for serious runners, parents with strollers, kids with energy to burn, and joggers who just enjoy getting out. What better way to start off your Fourth of July than participating in our certified and timed course with family and friends?!
It’s also time to think about decorating your floats, golf carts, and other motorized vehicles! The Trophy Club Parks & Recreation Department is excited to continue the fun with the Parade of Patriots at 9:30 AM. Residents are welcome to set up blankets and chairs along the route to enjoy the Parade of Patriots.
The perfect ending to this patriotic day is a night of evening fun at the Fireworks Celebration taking place from 6 PM-10 PM including Delicious Eats, Family Fun Activities, Groovin' Tunes by Limelight, and of course, FIREWORKS!
We hope you join us in bringing Trophy Club families, friends, and guests together to celebrate July 4th!

Ahhhhh…Summer is Finally Here! Spending time outside in one of our Town Parks is a great way to enjoy nature, have fun, get some exercise, and spend time with family and friends. The TC Parks & Recreation Department provides a diversified program to meet the recreational, educational, and leisure needs of our community.
We manage over 1,000 acres of parks, providing both active and passive recreational opportunities, plus an abundance of green space for families, seniors, and kids of all ages.
Our sports complexes are also busy throughout the year. There are four public tennis courts, nine soccer fields, seven baseball/softball fields, two basketball courts, and a disc golf course. Residents and visitors, through various leagues and tournaments, enjoy these facilities year-round.
There are four playgrounds throughout the town for kids of all ages and abilities. Others may enjoy picnics and covered pavilions, plus motocross, ATV, equestrian, hiking, and mountain biking trails all available in Trophy Club Park. Check out all of the adventures that await in the Trophy Club Park video series on YouTube here.
For those who are looking to cool off, the Town offers a Community Pool and Splash Pad and access to Lake Grapevine allows for lake-related activities, such as boating and fishing.
I hope to see you and your families around town enjoying these many activities and events!

While April sure was busy, May is a month of many things in Trophy Club!
It’s always a pleasure having our students in Chambers. We recognized BNHS Football and Wrestling for their historical seasons and championships. Congratulations, Bobcats! (and, a special shout-out to my wrestler, Justin…mama loves you!)
We also proclaimed May as Mental Health Awareness Month. Two years of pandemic living took a toll with extra stress, isolation, and uncertainty. Negative attitudes and stigma still exist, so we must be accepting of mental health issues and support people with them.
Join us for the 30th consecutive year for the National Day of Prayer Observance on May 5th at Lake Cities Church of Christ. We’re blessed to have the continuing support and faithfulness of our 76262 communities to pray for our nation, its leaders and its people.
Honor moms by taking a pleasant promenade through artisan treasures at the Mother's Day Art and Garden Festival May 6 - 8 at Trophy Club Town Center, a lovely addition to everyone's springtime.
See our First Responders trade their uniforms and badges for bats and gloves! Prepare for the perfect pitch at TCEVAs 2nd Annual Battle of the Badge Softball Game on May 21st as TCPD and TCFD square off!
Please plan to attend the Metroport Veterans Association Annual Memorial Day Ceremony on May 30th as we honor those who have died in American wars.
I hope you have an excellent May, and I’ll see you around Town!
Looking forward to seeing everyone out and enjoying a beautiful Spring in Trophy Club!
