July 14, 2021:

The summer has been busy already in Trophy Club with lots of events and activities happening! Here are a few highlights of things that have happened in June and into July so far.

Boards and Commissions:

  • The Town is currently accepting applications for its Board’s and Commissions thru August 02, 2021.Boards and Commission News FLash

  • The following are the Boards and Commissions that the Town currently has:
    • Animal Shelter Advisory Board
    • Building Standards Commission
    • Crime Control and Prevention District  (CCPD)
    • Economic Development Corporation  (EDC 4B)
    • Ethics Review Commission 
    • Parks and Recreation Board 
    • Planning and zoning
    • Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone 1 (TIRZ)

TCPD Re-Recognition Status Achieved:

  • TCPD Best Practice 2The Trophy Club Police Department has achieved "Re-Recognition Status" for compliance with the Texas Law Enforcement Agency Best Practices Recognition Program. 
  • The Law Enforcement Recognition Program is a voluntary process where police agencies in Texas prove their compliance with 166 Texas Law Enforcement Best Practices. These Best Practices were carefully developed by Texas Law Enforcement professionals to assist agencies in the efficient and effective delivery of service, the reduction of risk and the protection of individual’s rights.

TCEVA Battle of the Badges Charity Softball Game:

  • One of the month’sTCPD BB highlights was the 1st Annual Softball Game between the TCFD vs the TCPD.
  • The TCPD won the game with a final score of 9-6.
  • We look forward to next year’s game.

Fourth of July Celebration:

  • The 4th of July events were a great success.
  • A 5K Run with a Fun Run for non competitors.

  • Nighttime fun with games, face painting and ballon making. 
  • And our spectacular 4th of July FireWorks.
  • Yes, it was a July event, we could not wait to highlight the great work and flawlessness of the events by the Trophy Club Staff and thank the Residents that lined the Parade Route and attended the nighttime event.
  • According to staff the attendance at the 5K run and nighttime festivities was the largest in our history.
